Drebach

With a total of eight districts, separated by idyllic green spaces and the Zschopau Valley, wonderful for hiking and cycling, the municipality lies between Wolkenstein and Zschopau. In spring, the “naked ladies”, as crocuses are also known, transform Drebach into a sea of flowers that can be admired on a tour. Adventurers of all ages can discover Christmas displays and other marvellous worlds of toys as well as exciting special exhibitions at Scharfenstein Castle. Travel back in time with the “Robin Hood of the Ore Mountains”, folk hero Karl Stülpner, who was born in the Scharfenstein district, to explore Scharfenstein Castle and listen to his stories. Set off on the Planetenwanderweg (Planet Trail) towards Ehrenfriedersdorf, where you can explore our solar system. Or visit the Zeiss Planetarium, where budding voyagers of all ages can reach for the stars. Motorsport fans will love the biennial event "Getzen Rodeo", which attracts world-class drivers.
