At daring heights, you and your family can tackle a variety of obstacles and exciting courses. And for those who want to experience the sensation of flying, the “Flying Stülpner” is all yours.

At the Erlebniskletterwald Greifensteine climbing forest, athletes of all ages can let off steam on 10 different courses with a total of 74 exciting climbing elements at heights of up to 13 metres... Will you put your courage to the test? The “Flying Stülpner” zipline ‒ a unique way to cross the lake ‒ also provides a definite thrill. In the climbing forest, beginners too can expect loads of fun.

Public transport

The nearest bus stop is the “Weg zu den Greifensteinen, Ehrenfriedersdorf”, which is served by bus line 441 (Ehrenfriedersdorf-Schwarzenberg). Another option is the bus stop “Gasthof Teichschänke, Geyer” (bus line 441), which is right by the Greifenstein reservoir; from here you can follow a forest path to the tourist information point.

In the town of Ehrenfriedersdorf itself, there is the bus stop “Neumarkt, Ehrenfriedersdorf”, bus line 210 (Chemnitz-Annaberg-Buchholz). This is 4 km from the tourist information office. If choosing this option, you can reach the Greifensteine through the forest following the exciting Waldgeisterweg (Forest Spirits Trail).

By road

Take the A72 or A4 to Kreuz-Chemnitz, exit Chemnitz Süd, continue on the B95 towards Annaberg-Buchholz; in Ehrenfriedersdorf turn right at Marktplatz towards Greifensteine.

Parking

There is sufficient parking available directly at the Greifensteine site. Don’t forget to purchase a parking ticket.
