Young and old alike can be sure of a fun-packed time at the Erlebnisland Kegelsberg amusement park in Gelenau.
A spectacular, 580m-long toboggan run puts a thrill in the heart of any visitor, whatever their age. At speeds of up to 40 km/h, it flies down the mountain. Steep bends, rapid turns and a jump are in store for all daredevils, guaranteeing an exhilarating experience for the whole family. Pure adventure lies ahead for all those who race into the valley on the Alpine Coaster.

Public transport

The stop for the open-air swimming pool/sports area (“Freibad/Sportareal”) is located directly next to the motorhome park and is served by the local bus line 209. At the central bus stop you can transfer to regional and national lines.

By road

Gelenau is located in the Erzgebirge District between Chemnitz and Annaberg-Buchholz, halfway along the B95. You can also take the B174 from Chemnitz in the direction of Marienberg, junction Amtsberg. Erlebnisland Kegelberg is situated at the lower end of town on Kemtauer Strasse.
